Whiskered Screech Owl The Whiskered Screech Owl is found in Wooded Canyons that are above 5000 feet in elevation. This bird's call is either four or five short whistles all on the same pitch or a Morse-code-like call. This bird is regular in summer and rare in winter. |

Pygmy Owl Pygmy Owls are found in mountain woodlands. They are often active in the daytime and are usually found by hearing their double-noted whistle. This bird is here year-round.
